Ricken wanders the realm as an unheralded battle mage before traveling to Blackstone City to uncover the noble lineage denied to him since infancy. After rescuing a critically wounded nobleman from assassin blades, he discovers that the patriarch is his long-lost biological father, instantly triggering fierce clan jealousy.
When mandatory academy trials demand he prove his worth, Ricken astounds the sneering nobility by conjuring nine primordial soul flames of divine tier. Navigating treacherous academic sabotage, an unexpected holy engagement, and demonic incursions, he must master supreme alchemical sorcery to protect his clan and crush ancient conspirators.
